Why It Matters
The Razr Fold marks a meaningful expansion of Motorola’s foldable lineup beyond the clamshell Razr series. With its large-format inner display, flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, and class-leading 6,000mAh battery, the device is positioned as a direct challenger to Samsung and Google in the book-fold segment — and at $1,899 it undercuts the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s launch price by a notable margin.
The Razr 2026 clamshell family is also now available alongside the Razr Fold in the US, giving buyers a full range of Motorola’s latest foldable lineup at launch.
