When your scanner cannot reach a GCP project, the report you hand an assessor should say so, and say why. NSAuditor AI Enterprise 2.1.1, published on 1 November 2026 with Community Edition 1.1.1, now does that for the GCP Cloud Storage and IAM auditors, and adds an AI assessment that tells you how much of the scan it read.
GCP gaps with a name and a cause
With no GCP project set, or no usable credential loaded, the GCP Cloud Storage and IAM auditors now report themselves down with the cause, just as the GCP security audit does. The controls they map fail closed as not measured, so your SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST SP 800-171, CIS v8, ISO 27001 and NIST CSF 2.0 reports each show the gap their own controls depend on, with the reason beside it.
Trend lines that do not count this gap as a fix
Upgrading from 2.1.0? For an estate scanned before and after under those conditions, the earlier Cloud Storage and IAM findings are held out of MTTR closure, and the drift file lists them as could not measure, never as cleared.
AI analysis that states its coverage
In Community 1.1.1, when the AI provider reports reading less than half of the scan, by the CLI’s own estimate, the assessment opens with one line saying it covers part of the scan. You know what the model saw before you act on what it said.
Smoother for admins
- The OpenAI client moves to
openai7, with onezodand nooverridesin a project that depends on Community. - A tool your licence does not cover names the tools you can use now.
- Offline teams get the 2.1.1 air-gap carrier, with Enterprise 2.1.1 and Community 1.1.1 inside.
One scan, eight frameworks
NSAuditor AI Enterprise turns one read-only scan of AWS, Azure and GCP into evidence for SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST CSF 2.0, PCI DSS v4.0.1, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, CIS Controls v8, GDPR Article 32 and NIST SP 800-171 Rev 2. Zero Data Exfiltration: your scan data never goes to Nsasoft.
